Is God good?

Have you ever wondered where God is?

Sometimes it doesn’t seem like the Lord is present—or good—when bad things happen. We wonder why He doesn’t step in and stop things.

Lamentations-3-25

We may never get the answers we’re looking for on this side of heaven.

But we can trust this promise:

“The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”
Lamentations 3:25

We may not see the good immediately.

Or we not agree with God on what is “good.”

But eventually, and hopefully sooner rather than later, if we keep waiting and keep seeking, we will know that the Lord is good.

If you keep waiting and keep seeking, you will know. #Lamentations3 #HideHisWord

I have been waiting on the Lord for over 20 years for my husband to come to the Lord. It has come to a point where I need to move to a place of clean air and pure water due to my asthma and allergies. Where my sons lives fits the bill and my grandchildren need to know me better. God has laid a burden on my heart to stay for a month and see if this will fulfill His purpose in my life. I asked my husband to come with me and experience this new area but he refuses and states he needs to take care of our cats. He feels threatened with my new outlook and says I love Jesus more than himself (which is true). I need to continue to seek God’s will as this situation leaves me feeling as if I must follow the Lord even if my husband will not. Thanks for these comments on Lam.3:25 as it gives me truth that I must act upon. I’ve waited on the Lord and now seeking His Word to allow me to obey.
