    FYI:
    Which version?

The resources we’ll provide next week will be in the English Standard Version (ESV), but you are welcome to memorize in whatever version YOU prefer.

The extra time to review was good for me, too. I needed it and hope I’ll keep reviewing even when we start the new chapter. I’m glad we’ll be memorizing together again!

Just signed up and I’m very excited to begin memorizing Psalm 71 with you all. I found about the Bible Memory Challenge from a post by Shonda Knowlton on her blog, The Knowlton Nest, which I discovered from her post on Good Morning Girls – a Bible study group I participate in. I am so glad to have found a group of women who share my desire in memorizing scripture!

I believe memorizing God’s Word is very important in the life of a disciple of Jesus. It’s a discipline necessary to defeat the flaming arrows of our enemy and it’s power in a believer’s prayer life as we can speak the promises of God back to Him knowing He will be faithful and true to His Word!

      Laurie,
I’m so glad the Lord led you to our group via Shonda. It’s uplifting to find other believers with a similar passion for memorizing scripture. I pray that we’ll be an encouragement to you; you already are to us.

Hi! I’m just registering to join you in memorizing this Psalm…
I don’t have a blog (yet- as I’m working on starting one up) but I still look forward to being part of Hide His Word facebook group and this community; SO looking forward to memorizing along with you!
It’s been several weeks since I’ve done consistent, extensive Scripture memorization, & I know the Lord has been pressing on my heart to start up again, so I’m filled with joy to be able to get to this again!

Welcome, Eva! You certainly don’t have to have a blog to participate, but if you do start one, we’d love to visit you there.

Isn’t it sweet how the Lord provides opportunities to help us do what He places on our hearts to do? So glad He led you to us and that we’ll be on this journey together.
