I’ve been memorizing Colossians using Ann Voskamp’s “Colossians in a year” printables from her website: aholyexperience.com It’s been SO good to have a card in hand, easily stored in my purse to take anywhere, pull out at a stoplight, etc.

I am memorizing Psalm 143 in sections. I’m using the method where you put the first letter of each word down on paper for a visual cue but I have also put the first two letters of the word in less familiar sections and this really seems to help. I have the verse completely written out on paper in my three ring binder and keep this open on my kitchen table. Then I put the piece of paper with the one or two letters per word in my purse. Hiding His word has really made me feel so close to the Lord.

I love the first letter method. I have them hanging in my shower!

Having the notebook out on the kitchen counter is a great idea! Thanks for sharing.

The letter method was great for when I was trying to test myself…otherwise I would take a peek at the word I was stuck on and then see a couple more words. =p
