This month we’re studying Psalm 19 here at DND. We’re so glad you’re joining us!

We pray that you’d be blessed by our time together spent in God’s Word and drawing closer to Him. After all,

9b …”the rules of the LORD are true,
and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb…” (Psalm 19:9-10, ESV)

And as a way to help keep us focusing on this sweet treasure, I’ve put together a computer background image for us to use as we study Psalm 19 this month…

The truth is that despite our crazy-busy lives and whether or not we slow down enough to look up to the heavens, there they are… declaring God’s glory. Shouldn’t we stop and join in? The beauty of His creation reminds us that only God and His perfect Word can revive our souls, warn us, reward us, and cleanse us. His words are sweet and life giving.

Will you slow down with me today, look to His heavens as they glorify the Creator, and spend time with Him over the pages of His written word?

Thank you, Lord, for your Beautiful World and Perfect Word. Both point our hearts to you for your glorification. Help me today to live my life in a way that honors you! Amen
