I like your use of “core”–the innermost, central part of something. These verses do take us to those important truths about the Lord. I’m glad you’re in, Julie!

I’m in! Love that some will just be a refresher from Sunday School (this mom needs that advantage right now)! But I hope this is a start to a new habit!

Exactly, Amy. Many of these will just be refreshers, which is great for summer. :-) I’m glad you’re with us!

Uh, yup, I’m in, but it looks like I’m the only guy. Kinda spooky. Where are the men of God?

You’re not totally alone, Jim, but yes, you are in the minority here; sorry. I do know other men who are in–they’re just not as visible in this space. Nonetheless, we’re very glad to welcome you here to memorize with us and look forward to what you can contribute. Lord willing, we’ll have a weekly post each Monday open for comments and insights about each verse. Feel free to join our Facebook group, too, if you dare. ;-) It’s predominantly women as well, but we’d love to have you join us there.

Thanks. I’m partly just being silly. I’m an elementary school principal, so I’m used to (and comfortable with) working in a woman’s world. Women have held key roles in my life. Even my own mom was a woman. :-)
